Rooted & Renewed Women™ exists to help women become
deeply rooted in God’s truth and renewed in their whole identity through Scripture, beauty, and gentle, Spirit‑led guidance.
We create spaces where women can slow down, breathe, and rediscover who they are in Christ — not through striving, but through grace.
Our mission is to nurture spiritual formation that restores clarity, healing, and rest, so every woman can walk in wholeness and live from her renewed identity.

Theresa Macias is the founder of Rooted & Renewed Women, a ministry dedicated to helping women release false identities and embrace who they are in Christ. She is a Bible study leader, spiritual formation guide, and creative who uses her gifts to build tools that support healing, discipleship, and spiritual growth.
Theresa attends Christ’s Church of the Valley and serves faithfully in her local church, discipling women and walking alongside them in their spiritual journeys. She affirms Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and writes with a commitment to biblical truth, doctrinal integrity, and the foundations of Christian faith.
Her passion for ministry was shaped through years of journaling, healing, and rediscovering God’s faithfulness in every season. Creativity became one of the ways God met her — a pathway to restoration, freedom, and deeper intimacy with Him. Today, she pours that same creativity into her writing, teaching, and the design of Rooted & Renewed resources.

It began with my first diary — a safe place for a young girl to pour out her thoughts, adventures, and deep secrets. Over time, those pages revealed a deeper longing: a little girl trying to make sense of her world, her emotions, and her identity.
As I entered adulthood, God met me in those pages. Through Scripture and His steady presence, He awakened truths about my identity that had always been mine in Christ but had been buried beneath fear, lies, and old narratives. He exposed what was false, restored what was forgotten, and began renewing my understanding of who I truly am — both in my earthly story and in my heavenly identity as His daughter.
Journaling has remained a vital practice in my life. Today, it is where I experience freedom, clarity, and a kind of receiving I never knew was possible — a place where God continues to speak, heal, and reaffirm the identity He has already given me.
Rooted & Renewed Women was born from that awakening — a space for women seeking wholeness, worthiness, and spiritual renewal as they embrace their true identity in Christ.
Spiritual formation is not something we rush through or master.
It is the slow, steady, transformative work of the Holy Spirit shaping us into the likeness of Christ.
While there are many rich models within Christian teaching, we will focus on these three formations - that have shaped my own journey most deeply.
(Presence, Truth, and Surrender — if you prefer the devotional language.)
These disciplines became a lifeline for me in a season when I needed grounding, clarity, and healing. They are not the only way to grow — but they are the way God met me, formed me, and renewed me from the inside out.
My prayer is that they become steady, life‑giving rhythms for you as well.
“Rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught,
and overflowing with thankfulness.” Colossians 2:7 (NIV)

Join me as I share journal entries and lived experiences that explore formation, identity, and becoming — offering spiritual insight, grounded encouragement, and thoughtful guidance for the journey ahead.
My hope is that through these reflections, you’ll experience God’s love in a way that leads you into healing, courage, and wholeness.
You are loved. You are chosen. You are meant to be here.
Peace & Love --
